I'm W-A-Y Behind!

And doesn't that sound familiar? My last post was for June, so this will be a short catch up.

July is done

and August just needs the back stitching so I hope to post him soon and hopefully have September done by month end. Wish me luck!

Mary's September Santa

Here is my Santa for September! It is the 2001 Prairie Schooler Santa, stitched on "clay" linen with the suggested DMC. I love that it has the Partridge in the Pear Tree which is one of my favorite themes. I am not finishing this one myself so I am just sharing the finished stitching. Thanks for your nice comments on my previous entries!

2 Blingy "Biscornuments"

Here are my blingy August ornaments...2 of the Biscornuments from The Victoria Sampler (there are 5 designs). I have admired this pattern a long time and decided since it fit the theme pretty well that I was up for the challenge. They were quick to stitch and slow to assemble. The cording and tassels were fun to make. I will enjoy these very much on our tree this year!
